Dr. John Beier, professor of Epidemiology-Public Health and an Abess Center Fellow, will lead a discussion, “Careers in Human Health,” on Thursday, September 17, at 12:30 p.m. in 341 Ungar.

<B>Environmental awareness</B><BR> Dr. Donald Olson, a professor at the University of Miami, points to Osceola Lake during a class held outside after the school's power failed on Tuesday, Feb. 26. He was teaching Introduction to Environmental Policy at the Coral Gables campus so the timing of the outage to almost 700,000 in South Florida was almost perfect.
