Dr. Drennan is associate professor of Applied Marine Physics at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, where he has worked since 1997. He is also the director of the Ecosystem Science and Policy (ECS) Undergraduate Program.
Dr. Drennan received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics from the University of Waterloo in 1989. His current research focuses on processes at the air-sea interface and includes aspects of both climate change and hurricanes. He also has interest in development issues, having served on the board of director's of the development agency USC Canada.
