Dr.
Weisskoff is an Associate Professor, teaching economics in the Department
of International Studies. His B.A. (social studies) and Ph.D. (economics)
are from Harvard, and he has taught at Yale and Iowa State universities. Weisskoff
has been a visiting professor at universities in Peru, Puerto Rico, and Mexico,
and a consultant at the United Nations and the Interamerican Development Bank.
His book, The Economics of Everglades Restoration: Missing Pieces in the
Future of South Florida , was published in late summer 2004 by Edward
Elgar Press UK.
