Margot Wallstrom, vice president of the European Commission,
will speak on Thursday, April 6, at 11 a.m. at the School of Law, room 352.
She will deliver a lecture titled, "Governance and Democracy for a Sustainable
Europe." Wallstrom served as European environment commissioner for five
years, during which she was an ardent defender of the Kyoto Protocol. She
is currently responsible for institutional relations and communication strategy
for the European Commission.
